Anyone knows how soon Weil gives offer after CB? Interviewed there last Tuesday and was completely ghosted since... Should I assume a ding?

What’s the timeline for Sullivan cb to offer, had one earlier this week.
CB on Wednesday, offer this afternoon!
Was this for DC or NY? I had a DC cb on Wednesday but haven't heard back yet
NY!
Thanks! I'm the previous anon - just got the offer today (Tuesday) from the DC office

Has anyone received rejections from any of the V10 without receiving a screener or callback for NYC?
I received a "thanks for applying, we hope to see you at OCI" soft rejection from a notably competitive firm lol. otherwise having good luck with offers/interviews
was this skadden? I got one of those emails from them
Exactly the same situation here, but from STB. Is this a soft rejection?
Soft rejection, unless the firm isn't doing much pre-OCI recruiting. For STB and Skadden, yes this is a soft rejection since they've been doing plenty.

For other firms like Quinn and Gibson which haven't been doing much pre-OCI, then they mean it - bid them at OCI.

It’s been approx. 2 weeks since Milbank NY screener and still have not heard anything. Soft rejection?

If you received a soft rejection from firms that are actively recruiting for pre-OCI, is there really no hope for OCI? Really hoping to take a shot at them during August.

Any movement from Skadden Nyc?
I haven’t heard anything not from my school either
Skadden NYC had a round of callbacks last night.
A round of call back invitations go out or actual interviews?
Actual interviews.
Anyone know the callback --> offer time for Skadden NY or has anyone heard since their callback?
I got the offer 6 days after my CB on 6/21
If I had my CB 6/28 and haven't heard, at what point should I assume I've been rejected?

What's the normal timeline between an oral offer and a formal offer letter? Got the offer from the partner last Friday morning, but haven't heard anything from the recruiting team.

Because of the intervening holiday, I wouldn't give up hope yet.

Formal letters will take a little bit of time since a partner will need to sign off on it (typically the hiring partner and maybe other partners too). Relax! You are in a good place

Does anyone feel that any firms (Debevoise, S&C, Latham, DPW??) are overoffering in pre OCI?

I'd take it as a sign that you're within their range, but not very competitive. You could try to network more, attend receptions, etc. and signal your interest and build on that connection (+ the pre-oci interview) during OCI. If you were flat out unattractive as a candidate, they wouldn't even have screened you pre-OCI.

Good to know, since you should target the next range of firms below as your 'target' firms.

But for sure, not out of the running yet. Give it your best shot!

I submitted a lot of apps to NY firms early to mid-June; if I haven't heard from them, especially those that have been interviewing and giving offers like Latham, K&E, should I assume I've been rejected?
I would still give it time. I also applied early-mid June and I'm JUST hearing from Latham and K&E. Also, not hearing back from merely submitting pre-OCI applications is not a hard rejection. Just bid on them again in OCI.

Anyone hear back after DPW callbacks recently? I had one a week ago and have heard that some others on my interview day got rejections back but it's been radio silence for me. Not sure what to think of that and they said a week so we're getting to the end of the timeframe now.

Any idea for the Cleary CIP timeline? Just got a callback yesterday, and wonder when the offer/rejection is gonna arrive. Will decisions be released only after July or on a rolling basis? Thanks folks!
All due respect, who does this help? Unless a Cleary recruiting committee member is on this thread (doubt), how is anyone supposed to know Cleary's internal timeline lol
Offer from Cleary DC. Couple of days between callback and offer
Thanks for the info! Would you mind sharing on which days you got the callback and the offer?

The firms are trying to scoop up their preferred cream before the other firms do. But it's not clear how many people will accept offers. Assuming the firms haven't filled all of the slots by OCI time, you could have a shot. And firms will cancel OCI interviews if they do not have any more slots.

However, does anyone here know of someone who got a pre-OCI deferral and then got an offer at OCI? Name of firm?

Wouldn't worry about that. They're offering 3.6+ T14 students for corporate and at least 3.7+ T14 students for litigation in NY. Most of those students with work experience and/or who interview well will have multiple offers and will decline 3-4 if not more offers, so the yield % on high GPA pre-OCI offers is probably lower than you'd think.

If it's been two weeks since my CB, is that a soft rejection or are they just waiting for higher GPA students to turn them down?

Does S&C still send out rejection letters via snailmail? Had my cb last week and haven't heard back so I'm just assuming I've been dinged.
