Huh, makes sense that they would go about it that way but the recruiter made a point of mentioning that the committee meets every day. Disappointing if true, OCI was a mess and pulling this off would be a much-needed win about now.
OP: I got a PW offer at noon today so I don't know how true this actually is.
Curious, were you contacted by recruiting or a partner you interviewed with?
I got a phonecall from a partner I interviewed with and then an email from recruiting.

Yes. I mentioned my interest to the recruiter and only met with people in my practice of interest. TBH wasn't thrilling, I want to try this practice but definitely would want to move out of it quickly if I didn't like it.

I applied to DPW a few weeks back after finding out I didn’t get a screener at OCI. Will I get an eventual response either way or is it likely I just won’t hear back at all?

Bit of a stretch but anyone heard from Baker Hostetler in the past two weeks? If so I would appreciate the office location as well!

Had a pre-OCI CB the week of 7/22, dead silent since + my school has had Cleary NY CB's from regular OCI. (No offers from that yet, though.) They're having a callback reception they didn't invite me to, though, which feels like not great news.
