I am guessing all the TX associates will actually agree on this one - you do not want to go there. They are not a player in Houston. I doubt they do much M&A/Securities work for Houston based clients at all.

I interviewed there and really liked everyone but I'm not sure it is a smart move. It is a true satellite office and I got the impression that it is only there to be on the ground when NYC needs them.

I know of 1 Sidley offer and 2 at Jones Day. Both Dallas. Not sure the CB dates though.

Just had a BB Dallas callback and they said not to expect news til next week, based on what y'all know does that seem incorrect/if I actually don't hear before then that's a bad sign?

Had my CB to VE dallas last week. Haven't heard anything besides a dinner invite for next Tuesday in Austin. Anyone have any clue if that is a good sign or is it just irrelevant?

I'm like 90% sure that dinner is for students with offers but I could be wrong.

Good point. Just read through again and it isn't clear. Only poster mentioning an offer was non-UT and the other post is vague that offers went out.

Nothing other than what you just said. Their invitation says they are completing CBs for the next month.... I hope they are making rolling offers. ICYMI Bracewell has also switched to an 8 week summer program starting in May.
