Can confirm Jones Day NY callback last week (friend)

But I did Jones Day in less popular markets (ATL, TX) and was warned by the interviewer that for those offices, it takes an even-longer-than-average amount of time to get news.

Anecdotally, a lawyer at JD CHI told me that it's nearly impossible to get hired for out-of-state Jones Day offices (other than DC/NYC) at OCI, as they like to do their own hiring, unless you have a particularly jaw-dropping application. So, I'm not holding out much hope.

+1 anon here. Screener ding. I may even have been in the first wave-- Sidley CHI was one of my worst interviews, and I had them down for a ding by the time I walked out the door.

Re: Sidley CHI dings, can confirm that perfectly well-qualified, personable friend whose foot is not permanently lodged in his esophagus also got a post-screener ding, so it looks like a uniform wave.

3L here, Sidley badly overhired last year for this summer's class and is shooting for a very small class to compensate.

Here's a list of firms I haven't heard from either way. I'd love input if anyone has any.

Paul Hastings DC (I've seen some isolated acceptances, but no official dings?)

Proskauer NYC (I know of one acceptance, but it was virtually immediate. It's been radio silence for a long time now.)

Baker & Hostelter (esp. secondary markets)

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius CHI

Seyfarth Shaw CHI

The last two, I'm probably just overeager, but figured I'd check.
