Nsp so We aren’t invited to this stuff—what’s the issue? Just that if you put in 2k/with class you’re getting dpw?
I thought I was still on Outlook when I saw an NSP chime in with a short question asking for someone to regurgitate the content that had just been written out in more detail.

Short answer is nobody will know until Friday

NSP here - either I'm getting thrown out or something but I wasn't invited to the townhall. Surprised NSPs would be included in the invite.

Haven't received our reviews either, I'm assuming the memo comes in a few days after the associate memos and I don't hear my review until February or something.

No. You'll hear on bonuses probably at the same time as associates and NSP bonuses get paid on the same timing as the associates.

He was making a joke. I think theoretically you should receive a phone call and memo both tomorrow although getting the former sometimes depends on the SPs having their act together and getting the phone calls out. The call conveys your review and your bonus figure and sometimes, if you're lucky, may add a little color to the review vs. what's written in the memo--other years I've had it where they are obviously just straight reading the memo by phone. Wait until you see how short your "review" is as an NSP though--very different from your associate years in my experience.

Time for a sleepless night and a day of staring at the clock waiting for the memo tomorrow! Come on, 1.75x market.

Start searching your employee number on the DMS, they get loaded up before they get sent out.

What should I expect as a 3d year with 3000 hours? Reviews were great but still a 3.

You’ll find out in less than 9 hours. No point in speculating.

If you search your name on the DMS, you might see your memo an hour or two early.

Oh man, there's a lot of stuff you can find on the DMS, but poking around in there has never struck me as a great idea...

lol especially when you're going to find out today; bad reward-risk ratio there.

I'm so curious to see what the multipliers look like. Like someone else said up thread I do think how the "normal" associate is treated is going to be telling--will they try to screw those people or will they maintain the multiplier for them. I also think we're going to see some huge numbers for high billers; I'm expecting to have some people come in and describe a 2x multiplier particularly in the transactional groups that have been nuts.

Everyone, share, please -- K&E tries to keep this black box and it's the only way we can bring some transparency to it.

Given how there were zero details about bonus amounts in the town hall - for the first time ever, I think - this thread will probably be the best public source of Kirkland bonus info that there is. So yes, everyone please share: Hours, rating, class year, practice group are potentially all relevant. Also be clear about what the multiplier is based off of, e.g. for a 4th year the 75k EOY market or the 90k DPW scale with the “special” part baked in.

Special bonus related Zoom in two hours. Partners must have heard that Wednesday’s town hall was a universal failure.

REMINDER: NSPs are the dead men of the firm. All the responsibility of the SPs, none of the comp. Arguably worst place to be at K&E.

99% the multiplier will be based off of the DPW scale and then they'll add in the DPW special bonus on top.

Is the SP running this town hall the same one from last year, i.e. the one who told everyone "these will be the most amazing bonuses, the biggest we've ever paid, never seen before, get yourselves ready"?

It’s just semantics though - unless they explain this a bit at the Surprise Zoom. But to continue using a 4th year example, if they get a memo that says “Your bonus is $112.5k,” then that’s either 1.3x with the special on top or 1.25x on the whole thing. We wouldn’t really know how the firm put it together.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
