Does this mean bigger bonus or bigger cheese plate
the cheese plate was a bonus, IRS agents ate 40% of it.

That pile of blow in the middle is only for closers partners.

This thread is so thirsty.

No worries, there's enough partner cock to go around. Don't forget to cup the balls. Us 3Ls will watch and learn how it's done.

Not that it affects anyone else, but I work at a small firm that generally follows market. Partners said they didn't know what Cravath was doing this year but they already approved using the same bonus numbers from last year, so for us things are flat.

Did they also tell you that first years will be paid 190K next year or are they still trying to be coy?

Can someone with shop skills shoop us up a nice fake bonus memo à la Milbank 2006? Then use one of those temporary email account services, spoof the SMTP headers to make it look like it came from a Milbank associate, and leak it to ATL?

TYIA.

New serious prediction:

nobody announces and we end up actually really not getting bonuses.

Firms say "we're market followers, and that's just the market this year."

I then quit this shtty profession.

its pretty obvious Firms are scared of high bonuses + high base combo.. u know Cravath announces 40k to first years then Skadden goes 190k with 10k bonus

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
