I got the CB e-mail today. CLS top 20% (or something like that, I think). Sent my info middle of last week.

NYC sent stuff around. Some of the lawyers had looked at it, others had not, but there was no need for your own copy.

I didn't end up needing them, but I brought them because of this post:

Had a CB last week in N.Y. Thought it went pretty well but no same-day offer. Hoping to get good news soon. I really liked them.

Someone asked something about this above, but bring a resume in case they switch interviewers on you and the new guy doesn't have your stuff.

Got standard "thanks for applying" email from LA office. Applied 6/30, second choice was SF

A friend got an offer last week from the NY office. He got the callback a day or two after sending in his info and interviewed a week before his offer. He's got around a 4.0 at a T20.

Got an auto response from LA office that the recruiter is out for the week so they'll probably be moving slowly for a while.

Got a callback from SV this week. Top 1/3 at MVP with tech background and WE.

What's the general view on callbacks at Quinn. Are they an offer for the losing, or are offers more rare?

Go back and read this thread, it's really short. One poster mentioned that his interviewer changed on him and didn't have a copy of any his materials and thus he needed an extra resume.

Long-sleeved black shirt dress with a built-in ascot and pockets, (slightly) above the knees cut, I think with booties. Offer (last year), and also compliments from one of the female partners.

I did my interview yesterday, and got an offer today. All three interviewers asked me for a resume and transcript. Be prepared; it never hurts. If you want more information on my experience, message me.

I don't know how competitive or uncompetitive you are for Quinn, but if you really didn't get a "thanks for applying" message, maybe it wouldn't hurt to send them a followup email making sure that they've received your materials. I doubt that would be considered too forward.

I think it depends on what office you applied to. I never got a "thanks for applying" message, but I got a CB a month after submitting. My guess is that I was on some sort of alternate list.

above anon with no "thanks for applying" message; i applied for sf as well, though in all honesty, i'm not sure i'm all that competitive for quinn (bottom 40% of CCN). i only applied because career services told me my resume screams litigation and to apply for quinn specifically
