I'm at a school in the northeast so the interview/offer process mostly happened while I was back in Dallas over the break-- some firms are still waiting on grades though

Cleary DC sent out interview requests, as did Weil NY

Haven't gotten grades yet, but they did ask for my undergrad transcript in the meantime.

Any general wisdom on how to send grade updates? Send it to the recruiting manager or hiring partner? Include a quick note affirming interest? etc.

I know someone who was offered the day after the callback before we got grades back.

Hey guys... MVP 1L that ended up with a 3.85+ gpa with all of my grades back. I didn't think 1L SA was realistically on the table, but I think my grades may open it up. Non-diverse, no apps in. Too late or should I grind this week to get some resumes out? Also, do I put my GPA on my resume or just attach my transcript? Thanks.

Oddly enough, the 15 or so cover letters with minute typos that I sent out have yielded me the most screeners/callbacks. I assume its not the end of the world if they like the rest of your application. Keep your head up!

I had typos in some cover letters, and a couple resulted in interviews. The others are resulted in "we don't hire 1Ls, but please get back with us next year" dings. Don't sweat it.

Taft Chi and Indy interview in 2-3 weeks. Sent my grades as a followup to JonesDay Chi and said they would get back to me in a few weeks - so no ding yet.
