Re: GULC EIW 2013
Dings I have received that I don't think I've seen posted:
Wiley Rein DC (snail mail, maybe two days ago)
Paul Weiss DC (email, yesterday evening)
Venable DC (email, yesterday afternoon)
clifford chance DC (email, a while back)
Dings other people have received that I haven't gotten (waitlist? evaluation turnaround differentials?):
Hogan DC (fingers crossed! loved the interviewer! she was the best.)
(Some of these were surprising: Wiley interviewer specifically said he was impressed with resume/credentials first-thing, threw a few softballs (which I think I fielded quite well), and we spent the remaining 10 minutes talking about guitars: I told him I used to play an Gibson 335 through a Fender Twin when I did the rock n' roll thing, but now I mostly play acoustic (hummingbird), and he started talking about a swanky, expensive Telecaster his wife bought him and how much fun it would be to have me jam with the "firm band." Loved the Venable interviewers and thought the culture of the firm was top-notch. CC asked me about my note and seemed interested. We talked about travel and his practice group. Bonded over weight loss when I mentioned recently losing 25 lbs. and he said he lost 60 lbs. Quite a bit above average grades for past hires for all three. I wasn't terribly surprised at PW, but I sure enjoyed the interviewers and thought they were great folks. I sure wish I was better at EIW, or at least, that the results were more predictable. This probably outs me if anyone is paying attention but I enjoyed all the interviews, just wish they had turned out better. Good luck to everyone and thanks for sharing.)

Re: GULC EIW 2013
Situation too unusual to go into without REALLY outing myself, but suffice it to say I'm under-performing my #'s by a good margin. Like I said, I sure wish I was better EIW! Oh well. Best of luck to all of the rest of you.Anonymous User wrote:stats?Anonymous User wrote:Dings I have received that I don't think I've seen posted:

Re: GULC EIW 2013
Any thoughts on EIW now that we are a week in or too early to tell? It looks like to be alot of feast 8+ callbacks and famine 0-2 especially in NYC.
