Good to know!OneMoreLawHopeful wrote: As of ~5 minutes ago the "cancel" button has disappeared on all of my August 7th interviews. I suspect they've just shut that date down entirely.
My power is STILL out and PG&E said they'd have updates at 10pm. UGGGH. This is impossible.

Does anybody want to trade Covington for a more attainable firm?

White & Case
We look for students in the top 10% of the class who are on law review or a law journal. Fluency in Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese and Spanish is a plus.

I hope these firms aren't too assholey when they interview people who aren't totally in the top 10%DildaMan wrote:White & Case

I've been given leeway for being IP from a few firms. I've heard some horror stories where the interviewer says something akin to "We don't hire people with your numbers."

how is the cutoff for hastings top 10% and those same offices will basically go down to top 25%-median for usc?

Man, I would give anything to know which are lottery and which are preselect. I got my first 6 choices, but I can't help and wonder how many of them are really interested in me. Are you sure we only get 2 lottery slots? I'd feel a lot better knowing this is the case.ilovesf wrote: I figure we're given 2 lottery slots?
I really like our OCS, but I wish they would switch course on the whole "we don't tell you which is which" thing.

Probably!
Hastings places 8% in NLJ250 and USC does close to 33%?

honestly, i feel HCO does a good job of sabotaging students' chances at employment in the name of not sabotaging students' chances at employment.OneMoreLawHopeful wrote:Man, I would give anything to know which are lottery and which are preselect.
