BC - all this afternoon, from Wed. interviews:

foley hoag CB
Goodwin CB (got mine around 3PM but I know some folks heard 10AMish)
Wolf Greenfield email of continued interest thingy? Asking for transcripts and writing sample but not asking me to come in...a bit unconventional, but I guess that's how they roll.

The mind-fuckery of OCI - slightly below median at BC, got screeners at plenty of midlaw and 2 biglaw (one of which is lottery), but I know that the biglaw guys just aren't going to pick me in the end...and yet I have hope. Ah, welcome back to law school mind games after a happy summer.

How do calls work for Cbs? Does the interviewer usually do them or the recruiting staff? Just trying to figure out if there is still hope if another interviewer made calls but not mine?

I suppose it is safe to say that Goodwin (from BU) will not be handing out anymore callbacks. Interviewed yesterday---probably a long shot anyhow. Anyone hear of them taking longer than two days?

both my CBs were from the interviewer. one via email and one via phone. i was sleeping when she called so i wasnt sure whether it was a dream or not... since i was dreaming about a CB from another firm right then. Then the firm sent an email to inform u to schedule the interview.

I wouldn't give up necessarily. My call from Goodwin (I'm the BU poster from earlier) came rather late today. He/she told me to call the recruiting office on Monday. The interviewer said he/she called me today this way I didn't have to wait the whole weekend... the other interviewers may have been busier for whatever reason. Also, it took me just one day to hear back from Brown Rudnick, but another BU person indicated that it took him/her two days to hear back.

thanks for the input. i m waiting for both BR and GP. so i was completely let down at first but hopefully there are more CBs coming.
