Re: 2011 Harvard EIP Thread
Did anyone's Ropes interviewer ask for undergraduate GPA? I have summa on my resume, but my interviewer, LF, asked for the number.
Also, I was told that if you want to split the summer between Boston/NY the "process is different." Does anyone know what this means?

LF asked everyone that. I don't believe any other interviewers did. Re: split summer: --LinkRemoved--Anonymous User wrote:Did anyone's Ropes interviewer ask for undergraduate GPA? I have summa on my resume, but my interviewer, LF, asked for the number.

Not yet. But according to the website, we will know about split summer at the time of our callback.Anonymous User wrote:Just to confirm, have either of you heard anything yet?Anonymous User wrote:LF asked everyone that. Did any of the recent Ropes CB indicate split summer interest? If so, were you informed at the time of your CB?Quote wrote:The on-campus interviewer will let the applicant know his or her eligibility for the program at the time a callback invitation is extended to the applicant.
If the Ropes CBs weren't split summers, I think we're still being considered.

Haven't heard from Ropes & Gray, but interviewer EC also asked for under GPA, so fyi, LF wasn't the only one.
Also Kramer Levin, Willkie Farr, Wilmerhale, and Weil ny cb.

I know rejections were sent out but this would be the first I've heard of a cb. I think they actually read the writing samples.

Ropes had a reception tonight for those invited for callbacks, so not sure if any other callback emails will be going out.
