Re: Cornell OCI 2010
so approx what percent of the class has an offer at this point? are any more offers being handed out? are only law review people getting offers?
also, how many callbacks are most people getting on average? note if you are on law review

These are all really weird questions. How would we know what percent of the class has an offer?Anonymous User wrote:so approx what percent of the class has an offer at this point? are any more offers being handed out? are only law review people getting offers?

Of course there are more offers to be given.
Law review people are not the only people getting offers, although there is definitely a big correlation between grades and offers based on what I've seen.
I got 9 callbacks, but I think I got lucky. I'm sure the average is much lower.

Anyone hear from Phillips Lytle or Hancock & Estabrook?
Also, does anyone know what it means when you know other people have had CBs but you haven't heard a word? Have they just not sent out the rejections yet?

Hancock & Estabrook did a snail mail callback (no phone call, no e-mail) for me, so check your mail. Mine arrived Saturday the 4th, I think.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone hear from Phillips Lytle or Hancock & Estabrook?

Re: Cornell OCI 2010
It's been a month since AJF.
What's your general impression of how the class of 2012 is doing so far?
better than last year??
IMO, it doesn't seem much better than last year.

Re: Cornell OCI 2010
Got one telephone interview from a small market firm that led to a callback. Also received phone interview and CB from large market firm on which I bid for OCI #1 but did not receive an on campus interview.

Re: Cornell OCI 2010
From people I've talked to, it seems most people in the top third aren't having a problem. Even top half seems to be doing ok.

Re: Cornell OCI 2010
Based on what? You have no scope of comparison here. You didn't go through OCI last year and you can't have more than a limited idea of how the entire class is doing this year... Things like this won't be answerable until OCI results are posted months from now and these types of comments also aren't helpful.Anonymous User wrote:It's been a month since AJF.
