How does GDC’s corp department fare in Dallas. Would it be career suicide to go there over Houston, or another firm in TX altogether?

It’s at the top of the market along with KE/V&E/Sidley, so no, not career suicide lol. The firm is invested in expanding the group, too, so that helps. They are still grade sensitive, though.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 11:19 amHow does GDC’s corp department fare in Dallas. If you want to do energy, go to Houston.

Thanks, how do you see Dallas generally in term of partnership opportunity for corp folks. Originally went to a diff city bc all those offices are smaller for the big firms (besides the native TX firms which honestly less interested in). Love Dallas but currently in more of a HQ type office and don’t know if I should sacrifice thatAnonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 11:51 amIt’s at the top of the market along with KE/V&E/Sidley, so no, not career suicide lol. I honestly don’t know the intricacies of making partner, but I would have to imagine that having more local clients would be helpful. Not sure if that equates to being more difficult than at an HQ, but the HQ probably has more people gunning for partner too.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 2:06 pmThanks, how do you see Dallas generally in term of partnership opportunity for corp folks.
