I have a podcast on now that I'm really liking. Mark Levin, Stitcher, May 4, 2022. Scroll ahead to minute 3, he gives a great historical summary of the so called right to privacy, penumbras and emanations, that laid the foundation for Roe. This has nothing to do with this forum but it's so good I had to mention it.

Hey nealric, you seem like a fair guy usually so would you mind explaining why this poster deserves a suspension for this? Seems like innocuous whinging. Is it official policy here that one cannot complain and moderation? Or was there some other violation that I missed?

The poster in question started multiple flame wars, then sent me numerous PMs complaining and trashing the forum when I told him to tone it down. After that back and forth (which happed after two warnings to keep things civil and respectful), he then took to this forum to complain again about the moderation. Let's just say that attacking the moderator is a great way to get banned on any forum.

To be even-handed, Nealric, I did not intentionally start any flame wars. I posted what were pretty candid and earnest accounts of my legal career and people thought they were way more amusing than I could have guessed. Yes, I understand saying medmal gets a chuckle on a big law/public interest dominated forum but it really is not that funny. Regarding the PMs, I try to keep those views private, to avoid said flame wars.
