Lol I hate that, as well as "gently following up". Just because you say your doing it gently doesn't make it gentle...Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 11:35 amevery time i see "kindly" in an email, i immediately thought i was talking to an idiot.

Re: Please see attached...
It is a weird thing to care about. I’ve only thought about it because I’ve seen it come up in “lawyer writing tics to avoid” type lists. But can’t imagine yelling at someone over it.blair.waldorf wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 3:16 pmI generally say “please see attached” but this isn’t something I’ve ever devoted serious energy to thinking about.

Page two and no one actually attached the file. Step it up, guys.
Also, "please see attached" is something you only see from TTTier firms.

Am I an idiot? Do you think I lack the ability to find it myself?” So now I say “please see attached” from PTSD.

Funny thing is (sadly this is 100% true), I lateraled and mentioned this war story to one of my new colleagues, who told me “actually, <new partner> gets upset if you use anything other than ‘Attached is…’ in your emails.” Anyway, I finally found myself a normal workplace since then after yet another lateral move.LBJ's Hair wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 2:00 pmyou have to out the firm lmao. how is this realAnonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 2:26 pmYep, had a partner yell at me for using “please find attached” as a first year. “What do you mean, I should find it?
