Anyone had a call confirming second round special bonus?

Anyone think the hours threshold for the second half of 2021 is different from the hours threshold for the first half?

What was the hours threshold for the first half of 2021?

I don't think any/most associates know the hours thresholds or even which type of hours count, which is why I asked what people think. I doubt a partner is going to enlighten us.

I really just want to know if associates who received the special bonus for working X hours for the first half of 2021 can expect a special bonus if they worked X(+) hours for the second half of 2021. Would suck if the threshold increased.

Have any PW associates gotten the call about their bonus yet? I’m a mid level who got a bonus the first time around and would expect to get one this time as well, but no call yet.

Call are going out with the bonuses today. I received a call from my group head - seems basically hours based:

Amount: 45K
July-December Billable Hours: 1200+
Year: 2018-2015
Group: Corp, Non-M&A
Prior bonus: 60K
Jan-June Billable Hours: 1500+

Worth noting that it was announced yesterday these would also be continuing with respect to 2022

Amount: 30K
July-December Billable Hours: 1100-1200
Year: junior
Group: Lit
Prior bonus: didn't get one
Jan-June Billable Hours: 1000ish

I was surprised to get the call that I got a bonus for the fall, tbh. I had thought the hours threshold was higher.

I hope you all get special bonuses (would set precedent for the rest of us) but "$0 and be grateful we aren't laying anyone off" seems probable no?

Deal work is down 55% by volume—the market has completely swung the other way in terms of associate power, it’s crazy that this hasn’t clicked for people yet.
