OP here - thank you all!! I'm going to arrange for calls to the Partners. It'll be awkward to ask for time to speak to them about leaving, but wish me luck!

Partners have a sense of these things, anyway. Just ask for time to speak - they'll know. You won't be the first; you defnitely won't be the last.
