Be happy with what you get - my summer program hasn't given us any sort of meal credits or reimbursements. These firms are saving so much with a virtual summer program.

Probably Cleary. Have a friend there who isn't very happy about their meal policy (or lack thereof).Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jun 02, 2021 2:14 pmOut this cheap firmAnonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jun 02, 2021 1:50 pmBe happy with what you get - my summer program hasn't given us any sort of meal credits or reimbursements. It's fine, lot of people max the bill, not gonna affect your offer.
That said, deliberately max-ing is tacky and cringe.
Be an adult. Order whatever you'll actually eat, tip generously. If you hit the max, that's fine, but don't add extra shit that you're gonna eat one bite of just because someone else is paying. This isn't the first, and won't be the last, opportunity you'll have to eat a nice meal.

Why is it tacky to try to max out the bill? If I don't eat all the empanadas I ordered for lunch, I'll just eat them for dinner.LBJ's Hair wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 1:57 pmIt's fine, lot of people max the bill, not gonna affect your offer.

It's funny to watch gunner-y SAs in my program parse the minutiae of my firm's (straightforward, mind you) summer meal policy with bizarre hypos and edge-cases, when it's like . . . just stay under the number and use good judgment.
