Figured I would try to necro since this thread got derailed last time pretty quickly. Am thinking about submitting an application, any current/former associates care to speak to what it's like there?

I also thought they were pretty hostile and weird in the interviews. I think they also pay below market and there is 0 chance of making equity partner. The appeal, I suppose, is being able to work on matters before SCOTUS without needing the super high credentials other shops demand. Personally, I see no reason why anyone should come here over Quinn for example. All in all it was an unpleasant process, but hey their insane interview process helps you figure that out on your own.

ML associate here. I'm sorry to hear that the above poster had a bad experience interviewing with us.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 5:46 pmI also thought they were pretty hostile and weird in the interviews. I won't correct each of the post's erroneous statements, but I will mention that (1) we pay above market and (2) working at MoloLamken is nothing like working at Quinn. Anyone interested in ML should just email an associate and ask for a 30-minute phone call -- we're a happy bunch and we like to talk about the firm!

I just went through the interview process with them. They pay above-market.

I also don't think it's right that they're flexible on credentials, or that their major practice is appellate...
