Yes, they exist. I'm in-house at a renewable energy company (former project finance associate). My hours are almost exclusively 9-5 but typically I only really work 4-5 hours/day. I also didn't take that much of a pay cut from big law.
They're out there, but some industries are certainly better/worse than others.

I’m a current 4th year at a top PF firm doing renewable work. Would you mind sharing how you went about finding that opportunity? A lot of what recruiters offer up seem to be funds specializing in energy with hours maybe as bad as biglaw. Dm also works.
