OP is not saying he jerks off to the voices on the phone. He’s saying while he is on a slow and pointless call he’s jerked off here and there (probably to porn). Not that bad. Think about how often we jerk off? Dudes probably jerk off 5-10 times a week. Hell I’m married and jerk off at least 7 times a week and have carnal relations with my spouse at least 3-9 times a month. If you’re working long hours and have a moment to choke the chicken, that’s not crazy.

Nobody thinks the guy is jerking off to the voices on the phone. We're all in amazement that this guy can jerk off while two boomers are chatting about some dry transaction or litigation. Just because you’re not the speaker on the call doesn’t mean you’re not expected to follow along and understand what’s happening to discuss and strategize with the partners. All the things I do on those calls (as described in my op) don’t take any brain activity, allowing me to follow along and absorb the contents of the call
