At my V50, if you're in the highest tier, you'll make $375k base, $175k bonus and $10k 401(k) contribution. But I know if you're in the lowest tier, you're making less than an 8th year associate.

Kirkland’s average hours metric is like 1930 annually. So go ahead and add a few hundred for what I would consider a true average after parental leave and stub years etc. are excluded.Sackboy wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 1:27 pmHusch Blackwell falls in the "lower V100" type category, and on NALP they say their associates billed 1740 in 2018 and 1752 in 2019. Based on that alone, I can guess that being a non-equity partner at HB or a similar firm would be considerably better than being an associate at a typical V50, let alone V5/10.

How many hours do you think you and your junior partners bill on average each year (as partners)? A “typical range” is fine, too. Just curious. And is this NYC or elsewhere?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 1:08 pmAmlaw100 junior partner base 350k and bonus of 200k or so.

Re: Income partner comp lower V100
Do income partners at K&E or any other firm always have to pay 100% of their health and welfare plan premiums? Seems rough if you make income partner at year six and you're making the same as a sixth year associate at another firm, except having to cover double the H&W premiums.
