Are you the same person who knows of the offers? I'm confused as to how a posting means they necessarily gave out offers.

I posted about 4th posting from DP (just that comment)... I was hoping that seeing a brand new post meant they were still looking through resumes and willing to interview... but the posting was taken down yesterday, 3 weeks early. I have heard of 0 DP offers so far... but if anyone has, I am very curious.

I'm the person who had the callback. Just got the email ding for derivatives. I accepted another offer so I withdrew the applications I had out for the other groups. Best of luck to you and everyone who's still looking!

Everyone is aware that DPW is hiring "specialized associates" for these positions, right? This is basically equivalent to a staff attorney. You are not on the 190 payscale, nor is it a partner track position. There's no good reason to leave any v100 associate position for this kind of gig. If you don't currently have employment, that's obviously a different story.

I don't think those are staff positions. According to the DPW postings on our school simplicity, those are just regular associate positions paying 190k.

I don't think those are staff positions. According to the DPW postings on our school simplicity, those are just regular associate positions under the 190k payscale.

I mean if you're a NY/SF/DC DPW associate (their only US offices) and you're not paid market, you're functionally a staff attorney even if that's not your formal title

Anybody have any movement from Goodwin? Had a CB last week, wondering if anybody's heard anything. They told me they'd probably get back to me within two weeks but with the holiday coming up, don't expect to hear from them for a while if I don't hear by Tuesday

Goodwin Boston was interviewing for multiple roles. I think there was one spot for Debt Finance (part-time during 3L and join full-time next fall) but multiple for Business Law and Lit. Have any 3Ls heard anything? The pre-OCI thread mentions people have received Goodwin Boston offers but I imagine that's referring to 2Ls. Also wondering if anyone has heard from Kirkland for their multiple Chicago and NYC entry-level positions.

Fellow 3L OCI-er here. I know these posts are about Goodwin's boston office, but does anyone know if they're looking for 3Ls in the NY office? I know of one 3L hire from a month ago, but haven't heard since.
