Truer words have never been said. I didn't leave the office for 3 days in a row at one point--isn't it great having food, showers, and sleeping areas available in-building so we never have to get sunshine again?
Somewhat off topic, but do you not reevaluate whether biglaw is worth it after something like this happens?

When I was there during callbacks several of my interviewers were very proud of their barista. Real selling point apparently. Makes me a little sad that I don't drink coffee.

This seems worse than just like normal catering. How tf do you pick what you want? Do you go casual, quick service, fine dining? I would definitely mess this up.

Yes, after the 3 days inside with no time to go outside, I did *wonder* if this is all that big law amounted to, but I also remembered that I'm still on a learning trajectory, and that not every day, not every project will be like this. I think I more seriously reevaluated my expectations and goals when I was only somewhat jokingly considering purchasing a dog bed to put under my desk to grab shut eye if this should happen again.

So does A&P DC actually.
are they drinks good? I feel I wouldn't make use of it that often because milk has calories and those add up...
They are decent. A&P also has a subsidized cafeteria, and pizza/wine/beer every Thursday and cocktail appetizers / top shelf liquor on Fridays (this is throughout the year, not just during the summer program).

I would also mess this up. Would have to position myself so I never ordered first.

It's actually every day, not just Thursday (sans the pizza, that's only on Fridays) if we are talking about DC.

Thirded. I'd probably end up ordering the same thing as the person who went just before me. :P

I mean, seriously, the butler sounds great. But I certainly wouldn't want to be the only person ordering sushi when everyone else is getting deli sandwiches.
