Anyone selected as a finalist for EOIR-OCIJ? Didn’t see a post from Deana but just wanted to double check.

Deana did not specifically state whether OCIJ has designated all their finalists or not, but she DID say that their hiring is not finalized.
OCIJ is a very big component, HP candidates are still recieving offers. Typically, HP is sorted before SLIP, so there's still a significant chance that OCIJ has not even designated their full SLIP finalist list yet.
I'm still "selected for consideration for employment" by OCIJ. Reference checks and geographic preference done, but no word since then. I guess we just have to hang tight and wait.

Just an FYI, I was just asked for my EOIR geographic preferences yesterday so looks like they still haven’t completed hiring

It's in Texas, would rather not name the exact court.Anonymous User wrote:^ Congrats! Which location?
I've already accepted another DOJ offer at a different location though, so I believe I'll turn it down. It's a shame it took them so long to get back to me!

Anyone else still waiting on EOIR? Can’t believe it’s still March and no word...
