While I am not going to endorse everything you said, I'm very comfortable agreeing with this.Anonymous User wrote:There was nothing nice about interviewing at that firm

Re: Selendy & Gay?
There's no guarantee the firm will even exist 5 years from now. They're a new firm with all the attendant risk that brings, and are in active litigation with Quinn (which is seeking 10% of S&G's profits under the Quinn partnership agreement).Anonymous User wrote:I think S&G sounds tremendously exciting if you know that you want to practice law at a high level for a substantial part of your career.
I hope they do well, the founding partners are smart and accomplished people, but all this nonsense about "meaningful opportunities" and "work that's better for the world" and "hiring a consultant to make associates better at their jobs" (lol) is just marketing fluff. The firm has only existed for a few months, it seems extremely premature at best to anoint it the new Susman. In my opinion the students they're offering would be insane to take the job over the type of firms they presumably also received offers from.

So what are the odds that most/all 2019 SAs get offers?

Re: Selendy & Gay?
Probably very good. A 100% (or close to) offer rate is standard among the NY elite, so it's likely S&G will follow that model.Anonymous User wrote:So what are the odds that most/all 2019 SAs get offers?
