Where was your interview? They gave out CBs the next day in Seattle.

Dinged from Perkins Coie following OCI interview late July (time from OCI interview to ding about three and a half weeks)

This sucks. I thought I had a good shot with them and showed ample interest in a few different ways.

I guess my grades were too low.

Ding from Foster Pepper (applied online early last week).

Still haven’t heard from Perkins - went to post-OCI reception and recently received “still reviewing” email.

Seems like Seattle market is starting to move at least...have you heard from any other firms? I've been dinged from Foster Pepper and Lane Powell, but have not heard from Perkins.

Also, did you receive a "still assessing our callback numbers..." email earlier this week and then get the ding?

Dinged from all the other places I applied except for WSGR (Foster, Lane, Stoel, DWT).

It seems like you shouldn’t waste your time with Seattle big law if you’re T20 with a little below median grades. I have to admit I feel a little burned. Worked at a good Seattle summer job and did all the networking stuff. Nada. I loved my summer job. But I also feel like I should have stayed in my school’s larger market this summer to network.

Do you have any other ties to Seattle beyond the summer? If not, that could definitely be a factor.

Although it seems like below median at a T20 isn’t a great position for big law anywhere, unless you have something special (e.g. engineering degree, IP focus). Unless your school places more than half of its class into big law, the odds of below-median big law are logically pretty slim. You should mass mail NY or hit up Seattle mid/small law. That’s what I’m doing.

I've heard from at least a couple people that Perkins dinged folks last week. Unclear if there's been any offers made.

Sorry to hear about your classmate.

Do you know when s/he was dinged? I haven't heard about any Perkins movement at all this week, but there was definitely a ding wave last week.

Also, if you don't mind sharing, what school (T13? UW/SU?) and what stage of application (before/after screener? callback?)?

S/he was dinged yesterday by email. USC/UCLA - after screener.

Thanks. Interesting data point. It seems like Perkins is on a ding spree. I wonder when they'll start making offers.

Yeah, I got three offers, all from small firms though (50 or less). Nothing so far from the larger firms.

Ah... I only hit up the big firms. Heard of any Perkins/K&L/DWT offers?

Talking with my classmates, it seems like it's just been an endless stream of dings from the big guys.

Bumping... Anyone heard of any Seattle big law offers this year? I think I’m still in the running at most of them, but the silence has been disheartening.

Everyone asking about offers and talking about silence - have you had CBs already or are you talking about silence since your screeners?

I've had radio silence and no CBs yet. Was actually just offered another screener this week...so slow, its killing me!

I'm at several weeks of post-CB radio silence on some, post-screener on others, and one big firm hasn't even responded to my initial application (over a month now). Honestly wtf is going on in Seattle.

I've heard through the grapevine that a Perkins offer might have gone out last week to someone at another T14 (friend of a friend of a friend sorta thing), but I have no way of substantiating that.

What are your stats and when did you apply? Most of my movement has been on pre-OCI applications.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
