CBs from one firm can span across two days right? just because we don't hear today and other people do doesn't mean we can't get a CB tomorrow, right?

Depends on the firm. Some firms generate a list and give them CBs immediately and thats it. If you didn't get it on the first day, you are out of luck. Other firms can stretch over weeks. It does no good worrying.
