In all honesty the best advice anyone can give you is: enjoy your last semester. Seriously. Nothing you can do to help your career will be as valuable as taking advantage of maybe the last free time and flexibility you'll have until you retire. Don't worry about the rest.Anonymous User wrote:Thanks Zuck.
OP here. This will apparently come as a shock, but I don't live in NY / don't want to ever live in NY. So that rules out a fair number of firms.
I really just asked for advice on doing well as an associate, not judgments on which firm I picked. TLS is crazy sometimes.

How did it go for you as a summer associate?
My list:
1. Be insanely organized.
2. Don't miss deadlines.
-----
3. Ask questions if you aren't sure of an assignment.
4. Don't do sloppy work.
5. Have a positive attitude.
6. Never treat support staff badly.

There really isn't much need to succeed.
