I work in InfoSec for a gov agency, laptops have software installed that records the URLs that are visited.

As a matter of course we are not going out of our way to look for this activity, but there is a reasonable chance it will be observed (as many of the sites overlap with sites/servers that are suspected security risk). From time to time labor and employee relations will go on a hunt for specific users activities, these scenarios do not seem to work out well for people.

Just buy a vpn or do a ssl socks proxy to a vps. Or run another os from a thumb drive.

Lots of ways and utilities.
Also this made me realize you can probably also just install a virtual os via vmware or virtualbox on your work computer for watchin porn
For thumb drive route though, id probably recommend just going this route:

This would be a lower chance of being put together by most places. Some of the shops I have worked in intentionally avoid reviewing logs for guest networks, but this behavior is not universal.

I would specifically avoid if office was obsessive about physical access logs, such as requiring basing in not only at major entrances, but on areas within facilities as well. Or if time sheet reporting requires significant details, such as where you are preforming specific task or have to spell out at what time specific task were performed. Places with over the top data gathering like this are more likely to try to use it in ways you might not be happy with.
