Pretty sure that's how low in the law school rankings a firm will give an offer to a candidate. Harvard Business Review did some research into career outlook based on law firm rankings and their recommended floor was double your age + 3 fiddy.jbagelboy wrote:Half your age, plus seven.

Kind of a ridiculous question, because the answer depends on so many variables. However, I think people with real world experience before law school are in a position to make a better decision here because eventually you will learn that in your life, people come and go. But, the prestige of your firm, your law school, your undergrad, hell your high school if it's legit, your grades, whether you were on law review --- that is forever.
