Was wondering this as well. Haven't heard anything so I'm guessing a ding is coming at some point. It'd be nice to know though because I have a CB next week in SF from one of the other firms at the consortium and would like to knock both out on the same trip if I actually got an Orrick CB.

I only had one interview from applying to every firm participating in MCGC, and I somehow managed to get an offer. I wasn't going to even go, but I decided to go last minute. Pretty excited.

I'm assuming the same thing. Congrats on the other CB!

No, not yet. I felt good about the interview because the interviewers were trying to sell the firm. However, I heard nothing back from them...

Skadden Palo Alto is definitely doing callbacks (although I don't go to any of those schools)

Were you asked a lot of specific questions? I agree, interview seemed very into trying to sell the firm, which I hate. Makes it damn near impossible to gauge how it actually went..

Nope, we barely talked about what was on my resume.

Heard back yesterday. Clearly some top choice people who were given offers declined for better prospects. I couldnt believe the email for a callback... I had my screener almost 3 months ago (obviously) at the NY consortium. Ime (last year also, I'm a 3L) the midsized firms moved a lot slower, so even when the first round of offers go out it could be a month later, then add in the waiting time for them to hear back from the offerees, then going to a waitlist when necessary... I also disagree with common TLS wisdom. I have had only good experience following up with smaller offices. Probably true that thank you's and the like to biglaw and fed gov places are a waste/potential way to screw up, but small and midsized firms seem to like it.
