Re: Consortium Off-Campus Interview Programs
Was wondering this as well. Haven't heard anything so I'm guessing a ding is coming at some point. It'd be nice to know though because I have a CB next week in SF from one of the other firms at the consortium and would like to knock both out on the same trip if I actually got an Orrick CB.db15 wrote:Has anyone heard back from Orrick in the SF BC/BU/GW Consortium?

I only had one interview from applying to every firm participating in MCGC, and I somehow managed to get an offer. I wasn't going to even go, but I decided to go last minute. Pretty excited.

No, not yet. I felt good about the interview because the interviewers were trying to sell the firm. However, I heard nothing back from them...Anonymous User wrote:anyone hear anything from Wollmuth Maher & Deutsch NY?

Skadden Palo Alto is definitely doing callbacks (although I don't go to any of those schools)Anonymous User wrote:Anyone in the ND/BU/BC/GW get a CB with Skadden in PA? I did one and haven't heard back, its almost been 2 weeks. Expecting a CB ding...

Were you asked a lot of specific questions? I agree, interview seemed very into trying to sell the firm, which I hate. Makes it damn near impossible to gauge how it actually went..Anonymous User wrote:No, not yet. I felt good about the interview because the interviewers were trying to sell the firm. Re: Consortium Off-Campus Interview Programs
Heard back yesterday. Clearly some top choice people who were given offers declined for better prospects. I couldnt believe the email for a callback... I had my screener almost 3 months ago (obviously) at the NY consortium. Ime (last year also, I'm a 3L) the midsized firms moved a lot slower, so even when the first round of offers go out it could be a month later, then add in the waiting time for them to hear back from the offerees, then going to a waitlist when necessary... I also disagree with common TLS wisdom. I have had only good experience following up with smaller offices. Probably true that thank you's and the like to biglaw and fed gov places are a waste/potential way to screw up, but small and midsized firms seem to like it.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Anyone hear back from any of the smaller or mid size firms or is radio silence by now a ding?
