Yes - if you want to work for a firm long-term, take the firm job. Unless maybe it's a really terrible job, except you haven't told us anything about it besides number of attorneys. Why is this so confusing?

Can you guys ban this guy from making new threads? His questions on each thread are all the same and he doesn't appear to be taking in any of the legitimate feedback given. He has repeatedly been told to take the firm job if he wants civil lit.

Hey OP, I'll use language that an ADA should understand: "Objection, this question has been asked and answered."

Does this mean any litigation firm with 65 attorneys would usually beat any 100 attorney da office in terms of prestige?

Honestly, I'm trying really hard not to get frustrated with you. The answer to your question is yes - but keyword is "usually."

yes, but only if the cumulative years of of experience of the managing partners is greater or equal to the number of felony cases tried (not pleaded) by the DA's office resulting in a conviction per year.

*Divided by the state's coefficients of criminal judges to probate judges.

If you keep being this obtuse I'm going to lock your threads. You have been given many answers to your questions and you don't seem to have absorbed any of them.

This. I'm currently trying to leave a NYC DA's office and I'm getting hit with a lot of the "can't write for shit" in interviews. DAs office to civil is a tough transition and not a lot of people in my office have been able to pull it off. Nobody goes to biglaw. The few that have left ended up at mid/small law firms doing god knows what or shitty med mal defense firms that they hate. Almost everyone else that leaves goes to the feds or some state or city agency.
