Anyone has any experience with being asked by a big firm (who will be interviewing me at the PLIP) whether I am interested to meet one of their litigators over coffee?

Is it necessary to look deep into each firm, like recent cases, etc. at the screening stage, especially like OP with so many interviews? No question that it has to be done for call-backs.

Got invited to the dinner Baker Botts is having at my school's OCI this week even though I'm not interviewing with them again. Not sure if I'd call this a callback but it certainly sounds like a good sign.
