How did Milwaukee sneak onto the list ahead of Philly?
Edit: I wonder if the second vote is real lol. Beating LA!

Luckily my firm preempted this by sending out a well defined business casual dress code. Speaking of which, I'm trying to decide where to shop for work clothes now that I'm rich. I was thinking Banana Republic.stannis wrote:Over/under of pages devoted to whether to wear a suit on the first day?

Banana Republic 100% wool pants, Brooks Brothers non-iron dress shirts (tailored), Allen Edmonds/Cole Hahn shoes. Boom, done.star fox wrote:Not looking forward to Work Clothes Shopping.
I copped some Jcrew pants on the cheap, but this is basically my strategy too.Anonymous User wrote:Banana Republic 100% wool pants, Brooks Brothers non-iron dress shirts (tailored), Allen Edmonds/Cole Hahn shoes. Boom, done.star fox wrote:Not looking forward to Work Clothes Shopping.

I always figured it was suits unless otherwise specified on the first day, while slowly toning it down to what everybody else does.Tiberius42 wrote:Luckily my firm preempted this by sending out a well defined business casual dress code. What if woman. Also hate work clothes shopping.Anonymous User wrote:Banana Republic 100% wool pants, Brooks Brothers non-iron dress shirts (tailored), Allen Edmonds/Cole Hahn shoes. Boom, done.star fox wrote:Not looking forward to Work Clothes Shopping.
Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, and J Crew all have good clothes. Don't buy unless they're having sales though--they regularly do 50% off. Oh and Loft but I find it's not quite as good of quality. In terms of quality, I've personally found: Ann Taylor > J Crew > BR > Loft... but there are also some small style differences and price differences, with Loft being the cheapest usually.LoganCouture wrote:What if woman. I saw 5th ave the other day on clearance for $200. As students, there's a student package where you can get the park aves (and a few others), a matching belt, and shoe trees for $350. This is always available so long as you've got a student ID.TheGoat18 wrote:Btw, Allen Edmonds is having a great sale right now. 150 off Park Ave's among other deals.
I always forget about that. Regardless, I'm a huge advocate of the ebay route.PeanutsNJam wrote:I saw 5th ave the other day on clearance for $200.
