No. I thought they went from 120 to 140 or 145. Which makes sense; why would a person choose Manatt over other firms that pay market?Rule104(a) wrote:Manatt pays market now right?Anonymous User wrote:I wouldn't call Manatt midlaw either. They are nationwide with over 300 attorneys.

I'm still waiting on two firms, it's been about 20 months now since my screenerAnonymous User wrote:how long do midlaw firms typically take to offer/reject after an interview?
Typically? Maybe like 1-3 weeks? Something like that? Probably sooner if it's an offer and later if it's a reject but tough to say.

If another four months goes by without a response, send a LOCI and flowers.BigZuck wrote:I'm still waiting on two firms, it's been about 20 months now since my screenerAnonymous User wrote:how long do midlaw firms typically take to offer/reject after an interview?

One should always refer to NALP, Chambers, and Vault when doing research on a firm.PvblivsScipio wrote:No. I thought they went from 120 to 140 or 145. Manatt pays $150K now according to NALP. It is true that they were around the $125-145K mark not so long ago.
As to your question of why one would choose Manatt over a firm that pays market: it's not always about the money. Manatt is tier 1 for entertainment, and is a major player in the real estate space in LA.
