Most of the elite firms aren't even counted.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't those percentages actually percentages of students who reported employment and NOT percentages of the entire class?

Re: NLJ 250 Placement 2016?!
No it's a percentage of the class based on NLJ's count of associates at NLJ 100 firms, as reported by the firms themselves. When firms don't respond NLJ trolls their website for information on first years, but plenty of firms have not been counted in the past.Thrive wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't those percentages actually percentages of students who reported employment and NOT percentages of the entire class?

No. Numerator is # of 2015 grads hired by NLJ 100 firms reported directly by the firms to the legal research company NLJ uses. The denominator is 2015 graduating class size of each school.Thrive wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't those percentages actually percentages of students who reported employment and NOT percentages of the entire class?
