Perhaps timeline on offers are just different from summer associate offers?

I'm just confused by this whole situation because I know people that have gotten CBs and been rejected as well as have just been rejected outright. This feels very much like the WL process for law schools, with maybe even less contact.

NY - don't know specifics as I heard through the grapevine/CSO. T14 if that helps.

I think NY offer has gone out then. Wouldn't make sense to reject a CB without making a selection.

I followed up and received a rejection email a few days later (NY office). I interpreted that to mean that I had already been rejected and they just weren't going to tell me, but who knows.

This is awful. It's sad that some firms don't have the decency to reach out as soon as you've been rejected.Anonymous User wrote:I followed up and received a rejection email a few days later (NY office). Has anyone received an offer for the LA office, or been rejected post CB? If you don't mind sharing, how did you receive notice?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
