My firm (STB) gives them to anyone who asks (not sure about summers, but definitely first-years) and has installed standing desks in newly renovated offices. Usage is not that high, though.

Re: Is it appropriate to ask for a standing desk?
Was in one of said STB newly renovated offices this summer, and the convertible installed sit/stand desks were used by about 3/4 of the attorneys for the entire time I was there - in fact, most oscillated between sitting and standing throughout the day.Desert Fox wrote:About 20% of the associates in my office went out at bought the convertable standing desks. Other than the first week they got them, I have never, not once, seen them use them in standing mode.Anonymous User wrote:My firm (STB) gives them to anyone who asks (not sure about summers, but definitely first-years) and has installed standing desks in newly renovated offices.
