Has anyone historically given more/less than a market bonus?

If no:

Does anyone have better benefits (like real benefits like s 401k match, commuting pass, paternity/maternity leave, or sabbatical policy)?

If no:

Pick the one with the nicer office.

You're a grown up selling your labor, not a freshman with multiple pledge bids. There's no such thing as prestigious big law, and even if there where, it wouldn't do anything for you. Furthermore, it's an interchangeable industry in flux, if you make your choice based on people or noncompesanrion policy, they/it will probably be gone come the end of next quarter

Shouldn't the 7 be extended out by then? Not ideal but one transfer at grand central or Times Square makes the whole island pretty feasible.
The 7 will be open but that will be a really unpleasant transfer. Getting from say the ACE at 42nd Street to the 7 is a horrible long walk. Plus being on the 7 means very few people have a no-transfer commute. Its not a huge deal and I'm sure skadden will figure out some perks to make it more painless, but as long as we're considering location its worth mentioning.
