yup.
In some smaller markets though, there may be a lot of biglaw satellite offices that do 8 weeks max.
I noticed this....Why do they do this? Small office doesn't want to pay that last $6200?
no idea, but for the firms I've heard of, they encourage splitting the summer 6+6 or 8+6.
STB is 12 weeks. They seem somewhat open to splitting between offices within the firm (NY/London is a popular option), but less-so with other firms.

For the lazy, thats 101 total SAs. Of the 99 from American schools, 62/99 are from T6, and 89/99 from the T14.

This is interesting because Cravath has a very low number of YLS students (just two!), yet other V5 firms like S&C and DPW have 15 or more. What is it about Cravath that YLS students don't like?

It also could be that Cravath does not necessarily want YLS students.

This seems small for their normal SA class.

Based on my experience with the Cravath interviewing process and conversations with friends who interviewed there, they seem to care more about how well they think someone would do in big law than they care about academic excellence. Doing well academically is a prerequisite, but it's only a prerequisite, and so it wouldn't surprise me if they just didn't give many offers to Yale students.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

At least in the case of Cravath, I met a few partners from St. Johns. I could speculate that St. Johns has enough boomers from there to keep it relevant to hire 1 person at the firm a year?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
