For those of you who have received offers, how did your call-back interviews end??

Interview 8/18 and radio silence since. Was told I would find out by 8/20 so I'm clutching my phone waiting for that ding-mail.

Did anyone meet with DD at the end of their interviews? He was my fifth person, and told me that I would be hearing back within a week.

Exactly the same here but haven't heard anything yet and the week is coming to an end real soon.

I originally had SJ as my final interview, who is also one of the hiring partners. But last minute it was switched to DD, the other hiring partner. I guess one of the two of them always try to meet the candidates?

I interviewed Tuesday, 8/19, and got a call from DD the next morning with an offer. I don't recall him mentioning a timeline at any point.

Thanks. I know some firms like to wait until they interview more people from the same school so I'd like to believe there's still some hope!

Do you know if Willkie sends out dings via email or snail mail? I'm nervous that for those of us waiting 1+ weeks, the letter is in the mail...

How does Willkie ding after a CB; email or snail mail?

Had a CB today and I reaaaally enjoyed my visit. Really nice people and liked the idea of being a generalist for a couple of years. I've another offer from a v5 but I'm seriously considering accepting an offer from Willkie tbh... I don't think "prestige" is really that important.. anyone else in a similar situation?

Did you get an offer with them? I also interviewed today.

I also really enjoyed my interviews, particularly hearing about their bankruptcy practice.

V10 offer in hand that I actually accepted already because I thought Willkie cb had gone terribly. Ended up getting a Willkie offer not less than 2 hours after the V10 offer. It'd probably be bad form to jump ship to Willkie but the thought has crossed my mind. Vault isn't the bible or anything, but it's alluring to go V10...

In this exact situation but find myself leaning towards the v5 bc tbh, and i hate to admit it, i'm a preftige whore and also bc the exit options to my hometown in a secondary market i feel like would be better if I end up not liking the biglawl nyc life.

But I also LOVED my Willkie CB and the people I met. Not to mention those views!

What else is going into your reasoning?

Quoted anon here. No idea. Can someone comment on exit opportunities at Willkie?

Guys I find myself in the same situation as several of you above. V10 offer that I am smitten by and particularly favoring, but also Willkie offer. Loved the people at both firms, though.

Would also be curious to hear about how people feel about being generalists for two years. I'm torn on it myself.
