Any news from Tuesday CBs this week?

Havent heard back from tuesday cb yet. But saw on the columbia eip thread that someone from wednesday has heard - unclear whether it was on the spot offer or a call today (thursday).

Looks like it was a call today, for corp. I don't think I've heard of any litigation movement at all...

How many people do you meet on your interview day, including the people taking you to lunch and excluding the recruiting people? Would it be a bad sign if the number of people you met is seemingly below average, like 5 or 6?

Not necessarily. Partners can keep you for as long as they'd like, and as long as you impress the partners and don't piss off the associates I'm sure you'll be fine even if you don't talk to that many. I interviewed with six, three partners and three associates, and went to lunch with two associates and managed to get a same day offer. That's probably about normal, but I know of people who interviewed with more and with less who also got offers.

Bumping this question. Seen 1 corp offer on thursday for wednesday cb. Haven't seen any action for tuesday cb. Any chance tuesday CBs are still alive if wednesday CBs have already heard?

Any other one heard from Wednesday CB? I guess at this moment silence means ding because they said the decision will be made very quickly....

Not sure if this can be said yet. Have not seen any corp or lit offers from Tuesday CB posted. Have not seen any lit offers from Wednesday CB posted.

Fwiw the recruiting woman told me during my callback that you likely will get a letter in the mail (read ding) if you don't get an offer that day or the following Monday (if the cb is on super Saturday).

I met with 5 before seeing the hiring partner and receiving an offer on the spot.

I wouldn't worry about how many you met. Interviews with the partners are obviously more important.

Back when I interviewed, I got an offer from a firm a day or two later even though others had gotten it on the spot. I would say that if a firm is known for its quickness and you still don't have it within 48 hours, you're probably safe to assume a ding, but don't give up hope just yet (though it may be a bad sign).

I'm still waiting for closure from last Tuesday. I'm pretty sad - I feel like a horse with a broken leg walking out, REAL slow, to the place where they'll shoot me for the paltry sum I'll fetch for horse glue.

dont take it too hard. the fact that you got a callback at cravath means that I am sure you have offers at other great firms. perspective goes a long way (I struggle with this as well)

yes multiple lit offers were made on Monday. don't know about corporate
