Haha He's fantastic! Totally sold me the office. Do you know details on the CB/Offer stats?
E.g. How many CBs they're giving out, how many offers, and general timeline, any information on the hiring committee? I don't know anyone who has gotten into the HK office in the last two years, so I'm really lacking resources close to home. What was the CB like for you? Did P.L. call you or email you to inform you of the good news?
Are you curepure? can PM you the details

CCN 3L who interviewed last week for a Latham CA office at on-campus interviews. Haven't heard anything back yet. Do I assume a ding? Away from my mailing address for the next few days - wondering if the ding is being sent snail mail.

Had screener in LA as well-- snail mail ding that week; however I was out of town and emailed the recruiter (because, silence means offer) and he was like "nope..."

Hope your story turns out better.

I'm the OP (also a CCN 3L) and I have yet to hear anything after interviewing with one of the CA offices. No one should expect miracles but it wouldn't surprise me if 3L hiring takes a bit longer.

My experience has been that the timeframe for 3Ls isn't deviating too much from the timeframe for 2Ls. I did an OCI screener and received a callback the next day. Received an offer three business days after the callback. (Caveat: it might vary between offices and I don't want to out myself by naming which office my offer's from)

Median at T6. Have solid connection to the region (upbringing, college, language etc.). Guess connection is what got me in.
Attending T6 probably helped too I'm guessing!
Congrats! Was your screener P.L. by any chance?
Yes it's him. guess he's touring the country lol. cheerful guy isn't he
Hey, I know this post is old, I'd PM you but you're Anon.

Urgent / important question: how do they hire for their Asian offices? How does a callback work in that context?

Is it a Skype interview or do they take you to a local office and do a CB there??

Thanks!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
