There is definitively such a thing as too many, same as there is with consecutive callbacks. At a certain point you can't be expected to keep all the information that distinguishes firms straight, and too many in a row and you'll blow up. But 15 is nowhere near that number.

I have 26 and am trying to get more. Definitely not too many.

Are you trying to get more from those who didn't pre-select you - or more from those that didn't come to campus? If it is from those that didn't pre-select you, how are you going about doing this?
top schools don't have pre-selects. and you can pick up other screeners from massmailing or hospitality suites at OCI usually.

and GL sinf!
Not true. UVA is 70% preselect, 30% lottery. I believe the rest of the T14 is 100% lottery
Exactly, top schools don't have pre selects.

never. until you have an offer, that is. once you have an offer, there is such a thing because you can narrow down your options.

Actual answer:

I just did 16 screeners in one day. Somehow got a bunch of callbacks out of it. Am I freaking out because I don't know if I have time to go to all of them? Yes. Is that a great problem to have and I wouldn't trade spots with anyone? Also yes.

You'll sort it out. The more opportunities the better. I don't think the amount of research needed for each screener is so massive that having a good amount in a compressed time is going to hurt you.

I have 20 screeners in my home market before I get back to OCI. So far I have 14 at OCI - I'm glad I hustled. I'm going to try to go to hospitality suites and get that number up to 20 - but ultimately, I think TLS wisdom is what will *hopefully* save me

Research = chambers & associates

pick out three things you like, that will = "why our firm"

pick out three questions: one from the type of work, one from the type of training, one about them, bc people love talking about themselves. done.

just went from 17 to 29 through open signups. I may have went a little overboard as the majority of the 12 are regionals in markets I have no ties but whatever, I figured if I had the room then why the fuck not?

I had 27 screeners at NYU last summer and struck out. I also know someone who did like 10 callbacks and struck out.

Until you get your first offer, there is no such thing as too many interviews. Period.
