I was just outside top 15% at wustl last year and the only interviews I got were skadden Del and alternates (and none of those were V10s). You should actually be encouraged by what you have, I think.Anonymous User wrote:Jones Day

I know for a fact that Blank Rome hasn't released theirs yet. I don't know about t he others, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple more trickle in.

Re: SEMW 2014
A bit of unsolicited advice from someone who did this program a couple of years ago:
To those who may end up with a lot of interviews, think carefully about scheduling. Give yourself an easier one to get the day rolling and schedule the ones you care most about after breaks if at all possible. (Start by leaving yourself breaks in scheduling and fill them in last if you end up needing to). Try to avoid scheduling more than four back-to-back. The day will get off-schedule, and interviews are humans who understand that, so it's not a big deal if you're late, but it will stress you out if you have a big pile-up.
Also, if you've got a lot of interviews and would go to every single firm on your list before you accepted at some other firm, think seriously about declining the interview and opening the spot up for someone else.
Edit: I also noticed a bit of yield-protect type behavior by some firms. And to everyone who participates, don't be surprised if you start getting calls a couple of hours after the interview. If you're awkward on the phone, it's okay to let it go to voicemail. They'll usually tell you that you'll be getting an email from recruiting or give you the recruiting number to call.

Anyone out there for the Public Interest? I applied to the 2 DAs. Both say "pending" but when I filter "With Invitations" only Bronx appears. When I filter to "On Waitlist" they are both still there. What does it all mean??

Probably means you got an interview with Bronx. I'm not sure that "on wait list" tells you anything right now.

Really looks like you needed to be top 20% or so to get more than an interview or two. Hopefully OCI will be a bit better for everyone.

What does it mean if the firm shows up on the "on waitlist" page? Or is this there for everyone?

Blank Rome
Cravath
Davis Polk
Debevoise
Olshan Frome
Paul Weiss
Schulte
Weil
WilmerHale
WUSTL, 25% (just outside actually). Blank Rome wasn't there when I checked last night, so it looks like stuff is still coming in. Based on posts above I'm assuming some of these will be alternates or something.

Is your resume phenomenal or something? That's a fantastic haul for someone outside the top 25% at wustl.

Just to clarify, everyone who has posted the names of firms they have, it still says "pending" in the invitations column, right? Does anyone have "preselect" or anything like that?

Correct. We're sorting by "with invitations"Anonymous User wrote:Just to clarify, everyone who has posted the names of firms they have, it still says "pending" in the invitations column, right? Does anyone have "preselect" or anything like that?

Re: SEMW 2014
Willkie just went up under "invitations", and I was able to sign up for cleary (but only Cleary for some reason). Also I can confirm that "invitations" includes alternates. I just got an alternate from clifford chance, and it had been in invitations.
ETA: looks like they're releasing interviews one at a time and in alphabetical order.
