Just wanted to drop in and wish everyone good luck. I participated in Fordham OCI back a few years ago and now that I have a couple years of V20 litigation experience under my belt and have seen the process from the other side, I know just how much luck is involved. For what its worth I had a top GPA and ended up with 20+ screeners. From there I only had 4-6 callbacks and 1-3 offers. In the end it only takes 1, and I am at a place that some people choose over gobs of other offers, but nevertheless it put a scare into me. The lesson, treat every interview like it's your only one and practice practice practice so you don't sound out of it like I did!

Also, w/r/t it just taking 1? I was seriously disappointed that I only had 3 CBs after screeners... but 1 of those was my top choice, and that's where I wound up. Hang in there and good luck!

That's not me - that's poaster above me (who got v20.) I landed closer to the other end of the v100 and feel very lucky.
I'm not a great interviewer but I practiced a ton for OCI. A lawyer friend grilled me on my resume (or lack of one) and grades, did mock interviews with me until I had solid answers for the tough questions. (Or most of them: I had a couple of interviewers who just wanted to mess with me and then I just babbled like an idiot.)
Felt stupid AF at the time, but I believe that practicing - plus pure dumb luck - is why I got a job.

Only other advice I have is to not give up. I remember hearing people around me talking about how many screeners and CBs they had and it was brutal. But it really does only take 1 offer. Hang in there guys.

Opt-in scheduling is "run" every day up until 2 days before the interview date (i.e. today's run finalized schedules for 8/13, tomorrow's run will finalize 8/14 and so on). So theoretically you could be scheduled an interview up until 2 days before the last day of EIW...but this would require somebody else to drop an interview and you being selected. My guess is that most people that were going to drop interviews already did.

So to answer your question....its hard to tell...but if I had to guess I would say not great(I know that doesn't really help). Congrats and good luck!

If the interviewer agrees to meet with you is it a full 20 minute interview or just 5 minutes at the end of the day to say hey? (Basically, Is it worth getting to school by 8:30 even if my interview isn't until 2:00?)

I got 2 through Opt-in. Agreed that if people were going to cancel, they would have by now.

There are people who may have offers from their top choice by Saturday or Sunday night, so they might plausibly cancel interviews for Tuesday or Wednesday respectively.

I did not do the greeter program, so I really don't know how it works...I did have a friend who received a call back and offer after an asking interviewer (during his break) for an interview.

What are your options...sit at home and wait for your 2:00 interview or get to school at 8:30 and try and get an extra interview in? It's probably worth it even if the odds are not that great...what's the worst that can happen from you asking?...they turn you down?
