I recently made this choice and took a v50 satellite in a secondary over a v10 NYC. This is a market paying secondary firm tho and has a great rep in the field I want to practice in. Are their any national firms with satellites in your secondary? That could be a best of both worlds situation. Honestly though if your choice is between v10 and big local firm, id take the latter so long as you're okay staying in your secondary for a long time.
