This one was Ropes, since someone asked about Ropes specifically. Except it was a Columbia jacket and not fleece per se. But I wouldn't get your hopes up about the jacket yet... I hear they change up the present every year.Anonymous User wrote:My firm gave me a Starbucks gift card at Christmas. The swag, like a fleece jacket, only came after I completed my summer.

Any evidence that Skadden's post-acceptance jackets have returned for another year? Last year, people were apparently asked for clothing sizes.

If you can readily identify a person who is in charge of sending this to you then I probably would, but for most big firms it's going to just be to recruiting in general so I wouldn't.Anonymous User wrote:should we be sending thank you notes for this stuff?

Is this typically common for NY firms only? Anyone ever heard of post acceptance gifts in Texas?

Last year it was some kind of duffel bag for men and tote bag for women, around the holidays. Expect to also pick up more swag during Winter Weekend.Anonymous User wrote:What about Shearman?

I hope it's not a straight-up sweatshirt and more like a half-zipper. Yes, I know that sounds pretentious.Anonymous User wrote:Cadwalader is sending out sweatshirts to 2014 SAs.

I won't. I imagine it could be perceived negatively depending on school and employment %Anonymous User wrote:pretty excited about this. Yeah. My firm gave out nice wearable shit in addition to other shit and I still shuddered when I saw other people wearing their firm's swag to school. The guy/girl sitting next to you was next in line at the OCI screener and got rejected.Anonymous User wrote:I won't. Wait until you get to your firm's market and then wear it on your jogs/at firm events (and at no other time ever). Jesus.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
